New Year, New AY-You
Have you ever made a promise to yourself around the beginning of the year to eat healthier, get more exercise, or save money? New Year’s resolutions encourage us to conquer a personal goal or otherwise improve our lives. An example of how this can be achieved is by becoming more knowledgeable and qualified on the job. Allow A.Y. McDonald to help you with your 2019 New Year’s resolution with our ‘New Year, New AY-You’ promotion.
The industries that A.Y. McDonald serves – water works, pump, plumbing, and natural gas products – consist of centuries worth of history and knowledge. A.Y. McDonald University (AYU) takes this information and molds it into an e-learning format that comes complete with quizzes, games, videos, and a certificate at the end. Courses are classified as introductory, intermediate, and advanced based on the level of detail provided in the content.
From January 1 to February 28, AYU learners have the opportunity to get rewarded for their hard work. In addition to gaining more knowledge in the industry, you can win different prizes based off of the following criteria:
- Create an AYU account between January 1 and February 28 to get an A.Y. McDonald koozie
- Complete at least 3 courses between January 1 and February 28 to get an AYU branded t-shirt
- Complete at least 12 courses between January 1 and February 28 to get a wireless phone charger
- Complete at least 24 courses between January 1 and February 28 to get a cooler chair
- Complete at least 48 courses between January 1 and February 28 to get JBL noise canceling headphones
- Anyone who has completed at least 48 courses prior to January 1 get JBL noise canceling headphones
- Recommend a topic that the AYU team ends up creating a course upon to get a soft-sided 8-pack RTIC cooler (email suggestions to AYU@aymcdonald.com)
