The greatest appeal to bypass technology is the ability to perform maintenance, inspection, or meter changeouts without interruption of gas flow for the consumer. Since 2006, A.Y. McDonald has been providing a solution with our self-contained bypass meter bars, angle bypass ball valves, and inline bypass ball valves. In 2018, we introduced the Portable Bypass Kit, which allows the technician to bypass the angle bypass ball valve with a tank system. Due to the success found in these products, 2020 brings with it yet another bypass option to add to the mix: the Regulated Hose Kit.
