We make this a priority by being accessible to the customer on any avenue they choose, which includes social media. A.Y. McDonald is currently active on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram – and we are always looking for new opportunities. Therefore, we are excited to announce that A.Y. McDonald can now also be found on the social media network called TikTok.

TikTok is a short form, video-sharing app that allows users to create and share videos at various lengths on any topic. The app has been around since 2016 and, only two years later, was recognized as the most-downloaded photo and video app in the Apple store, globally. TikTok allows the creative freedom to add custom hashtags, show a brand’s fun side, and share information about products/services in a whole new way.

The content that encompasses TikTok is quirky, creative, and ever-changing. A.Y. McDonald is excited to highlight our new and existing products, introduce how-to tutorials, promote the most remembered moments from our ongoing A.Y. After Hours podcast, and share co-worker spotlights in a totally different format. On TikTok, there’s already a whole community of plumbers, well drillers, water distributors, and natural gas distributors who regularly share videos in the field. Launching the A.Y. McDonald TikTok will mean that we have yet another canvas to display the journey of making our products, along with the people who create them.
