A.Y. McDonald’s ‘Caught on Camera’ Photo Challenge
A.Y. McDonald’s ‘Caught on Camera’ Photo Challenge
For the most part, celebrities tend to shy away from the paparazzi - but A.Y. McDonald products embrace them. While they may not be famous in the traditional sense, the A.Y. McDonald brand itself has been part of the industry since 1856. With so much manufacturing history to rely on, it’s hard to even begin to imagine how many A.Y. McDonald products are currently installed underground, inside and outside of houses and buildings, and even along the sidewalk. Therefore, in the quest to find and give recognition to them, we’ll need your help.
From August 1 to October 31, use your camera/phone to capture every A.Y. McDonald product you come across. Whether it’s a gas valve, curb box lid, or even a vintage pump, snap a picture and either email us (promotions@aymcdonald.com) or send via any of our social media pages (Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, LinkedIn). Upon doing so, we’ll reach out to you in inquiring your contact information and send you a ‘Caught on Camera’ branded 3-in-1 insulator/travel tumbler.
But wait, there’s more! After each photo submission, the picture will be placed in a Facebook album where each ‘like’ will be treated as one vote. At the end of the campaign, the 12 pictures with the most votes will be placed in a 2019 calendar with photo credit given to those whose picture is chosen. Each person that submitted any picture to the ‘Caught on Camera’ photo challenge will receive a calendar while the ones whose picture is in the publication will receive ten calendars (and bragging rights). Theoretically, the longer a photo is posted on Facebook, the more ‘likes’ it can receive so we recommend you place your submission sooner rather than later!
We look forward to seeing where this journey takes you – and our products. But before channeling your inner paparazzi, get acquainted with the rules and logistics for A.Y. McDonald’s ‘Caught on Camera’ photo challenge:
